Our maps show the most direct route between the cities shown - so if a change of plane is needed, we don't show the route. With regards to Africa, yes, the flights nearly always operate on a non-stop basis. However, in some cases, one airline may operate non-stop, when another operates a service with a stop en-route. For example, if you take flights to Addis Ababa with Ethiopian Airlines, you will go direct, whereas bmi stop in either Beirut or Amman.
