@love_triathlon This option has been taken apart by various economists / planners / airline pundits, so many hidden costs. R3 or nothing
@love_triathlon What's Bucks got to do with airports or do you mean #hs2?
@love_triathlon The Heathrow "Semi West" proposals are old news - looks like a nice idea on first impressions, huge hidden costs in reality

If there is one thing to check above all else when searching for South America flights, it is to make sure that you won't end up with ridiculously long connection times. I've even seen flights to Buenos Aires booked to take as long as 44 hours - when it can be done with a connection in around 17 hours - or a little under 14 hours for direct flights with BA.
The map only shows the direct routes, and obviously there are very few of these, so I've added a few extra cities which are still popular with travellers.
For more advice on how to reach any particular city, just click on that airport.

We are very specific about what we label as a direct flight. The route must continue on the same plane without a change of aircraft at an intermediate city. These are the only cities that meet that criteria.
